With an average rating of 8.1 out of 10, it’s clear that we’re on the right track with Fableborne’s development. We value this feedback and will continue to focus on improving and refining the game.

Our Heroine Kiara, The Tundra’s Chosen, captured the majority of your hearts with 46% of votes, cementing her as the most preferred hero this Playtest, a title she maintained throughout all previous playtests

If you had a blank canvas, how would you improve Fableborne’s island-building experience and strategy?

Players offered insightful suggestions for Fableborne’s island-building experience. Key ideas included more tower upgrades, smaller monsters for map flexibility, enhanced defensive options, and an improved replay system. Other thoughtful suggestions encompassed aesthetic upgrades, real-time base defence, and adjustments in game mechanics.

Did players’ raiding strategy change compared to the previous Closed Playtest?

Most players reported a shift in raiding strategies throughout their gaming journey, often attributed to better understanding heroes’ strengths and weaknesses and adapting to advanced opponents’ base setups. Players showed remarkable flexibility in their approaches, rapidly adjusting their strategies according to situation and character capabilities. Such adaptability aligns with our goal of fostering a tactical gameplay experience.

Is there anything you would want to be changed or added to the current raid experience?

Numerous respondents expressed an interest in the introduction of new game modes. Alongside the existing raiding mode, they suggested potential PvE and PvP variants that could add another layer to the Fableborne experience.

The subject of game balance was also raised. Some players felt that the current game mechanics were more skewed towards raiding than defending, proposing a review of this aspect.

Hero specialization was another interesting topic that came up. Players conveyed their interest in the ability to more deeply customize their heroes’ abilities or progression to better fit their unique style of play.

Lastly, a number of respondents advocated for the addition of more monster types for defence to bring more variety and strategic options to the island defence process.

Your thoughtful suggestions are greatly appreciated and provide valuable insight into our players’ desires and ideas for Fableborne’s ongoing development.

Did players encounter any bugs or crashes?

The main problems reported included raids not being recorded properly, login issues, in-game errors, game crashes, resource allocation bugs, performance issues, and problems with loot and trophies allocation.
