Over the past few years, we’ve been keeping our heads down, while building Fableborne. The game is our testament to how blockchain technology and game design principles can create a meaningful experience for the masses.
WHAT IS FABLEBORNE?
Fableborne is an isometric play-to-own multiplayer game where you embark on an epic journey to explore the world of Shatterlands. The game is built to ensure accessibility for all players and is developed mobile-first, perfectly blending action RPG and base building mechanics, allowing players to fortify their islands, raid bases of other players for gold and glory.

THE PROGRESS SO FAR
During the course of the last few months, we had the pleasure to share and receive a lot of positive feedback on our Litepaper and the Fableborne Trailer.
Our community is everything to us and we couldn’t have asked for a better support system as we make our way through the realm of Shatterlands to bring forth news.
As we enter the end of Phase 3 of our Roadmap, we are excited to announce the first Fableborne Pre-Alpha Playtest. With this playtest, we will be giving you a glimpse at the realm of Shatterlands in its current state of development. At Pixion Games, our mission is to build a new category of competitive games everyone can enjoy in short snackable sessions, bringing people together from different communities and be part of a shared vision of making competitive multiplayer fun and accessible, as well as rewarding by using blockchain technology.
THE PRE-ALPHA PLAYTEST
Today’s announcement is special because it is the culmination of our past efforts and we’re excited to showcase an early and very exclusive look at Fableborne to the public and our amazing community members.
The Fableborne Pre-Alpha Playtest will span across two weekends. Our goal is to engage our community, get your feedback on the early Pre-Alpha build and simply have a fun experience together!
1. Community & Content Creator Sneak-Peek
Date: Saturday, October 8, 2022 to Sunday, October 09, 2022
In our first playtest we are inviting a small number of content creators and handpicked community members who will get an exclusive first-look at the game to dip their toes in the world of Fableborne. Our goal is to get initial feedback and get you excited for the Shatterlands Invitational tournament the following weekend.
2. Shatterlands Invitational
Date: Saturday, October 15, 2022 to Sunday, October 16, 2022
The following weekend we will be opening the Pre-Alpha to a significantly larger number of players, from community members, more community members and content creators as well as members from various Guilds and DAOs. But this will not be a regular playtest. During these two days we will be running our first in-game competition, the Shatterlands Invitational.
Step into the realm of Shatterlands as players compete against each other over two days to be the top contenders and unlock exclusive rewards, Esper Coin and your share of a generous prize pool. More information on the Shatterlands Invitational will be shared in the near future.
Look out for more details on an upcoming announcement about the competition, the prizes and most importantly, the rules of participation!
PLAYTEST FEATURES
This Pre-Alpha Playtest is focused on one of the core game features: Raiding.
We want you to focus your feedback on one of the core features at a time. In future Playtests more features will be added and tested!

How to be eligible for participating in the Pre-Alpha as a community member?

- Sign-up on the Pre-Alpha Survey sent to your inbox
- Join our Discord to gain access to exclusive Pre-Alpha channels

- Participate in community events and obtain the ‘Apha Access’ role or be one of the lucky chosen ones to be drawn!
- Once shortlisted, you will be notified via email with more details how to join the playtest

How to enter the Shatterlands Invitational?
Once you have obtained access to the Community & Content Creator Sneak-Peak, you automatically will be able to participate in the Shatterlands Invitational. Additionally, we will be inviting a larger number of players to this second Playtest weekend, so be on the lookout for an invitation email. Once you have access and accept the rules, you automatically participate in the competition.
